The restaurant was so understaffed that we stood alone at the hostess desk for 5 minutes or more before my husband went to the bar to try to get seated. A waitress took us outside to a table since the live music on Saturday night is obscenely loud. You might as well be in a rave. We waited longer to see a waitress again (never showed up) and left because of the lack of service, loudness even outside and being offered the bar menu only.
Service was slow, although the place was busy, however staffing should accomodate that. Also, the chairs we were seated in were very uncomfortable. We noticed that there were others that appeared to be more comfortable. We wished all the chairs were the same comfort level, preferably more than less. All in all, the prices were good for what we ordered. I would eat there again if I was staying at the Resort.
My friend ordered a Jameson's and coffee. It arrived hot in a drink glass with no handle instead of a Irish coffee mug. Really?! You gotta be kidding! You couldn't even hold the glass without burning your hand. And, they don't recognize Open Table reservations. Special occasion: Rick Lindy and The Wild Ones concert.
The food and service was great. We were guest at the resort and didn’t want to leave out for dinner and I’m glad we decided to stay and try Prairie River. Although the restaurant is not super fancy and the fire pit was not working the night we were there the food and service supplemented for that. Réservez une table maintenant
Fantastic food, excellent service, outdoor seating, and live music! If the weather is nice, this is definitely the place to be. And even if the weather isn’t on your side, the service and live bands inside are wonderful as well! I highly recommend this spot!
The band was simply horrible. could not sing at all. They sat us by a door and ppl was going in and out with their kids to roast marshmallows and it was COLD so every time the door open we would freeze. Just not a good experience at all.
I was quite frustrated when I arrived at the restaurant because they are no longer on OpenTable, and my reservation couldn't be found. Please consider removing them from your site. It seems like a very disorganized establishment.
They did not accept our open table reservation! So NO table was ready for us. Disappointing. Réservez une table maintenant
Food was decent, but incredibly over priced. The drinks were crazy overpriced as well.
