I had their jingle stuck in my head for nearly 20 years before I finally visited the place. To my surprise, the food is quite good! The large potato meals provide enough leftovers for a second serving later, which is a great deal for under $15. The nachos are pretty decent too—the medium size is more than enough for dinner. I recommend the Mexicana topping with cheese; it's delicious! I also enjoy the Roma topping.
Updated Had praties again Thursday 4. Nov. Son had Paddy 's special hubby had scallop and I had cheese bacon pineapple. Omg so yummy Omg the potatoes were awesome I missed having my 'spud ' I loved the chicken one hubby had the scallop one 10/10
The offerings at this restaurant are always satisfying and hearty. The prices are reasonable, and there's a great selection of toppings to choose from. I would definitely go back!

Half prawn half scallop spud was **** beautiful fairdinkum hadn't had a praties in years but I reckon I'll have a few in winter on way to night shift to keep warm
