I ventured with my brother and his vegetarian girlfriend into the outskirts of Basel to try this newly re-opened restaurant. Now, I would suggest that you take this journey upon yourself only if you have a car, for the place is as in the middle of “nowhere” as it can be in the countryside of a Swiss city. Nevertheless, the short motorized trip is totally worth it. This formerly well known Sunday family restaurant, has now been taken over by local entrepreneurs and managed also by a local gourmand.
