Edit: Just found out that there has been a change of ownership and Ben is no longer there.. so hopefully the quality of the food will not change, however saying that .. I used to go there specifically for the Samosas .. so I got some yesterday from the new owners .. and really guys .. they are very disappointing (compared to what Ben offered) same price but about a 3rd of the size ..you'll need to come back to the previous standards if you want to keep your regulars .. and just to add .. the menu on the website shows the larger Samosa. Good food .. I get the Samosas. Normally Veggie ..but if you ask he will do beef as well
Placed my order at 5:15 for two butter chicken with garlic naan and rice for each. I was told 30min wait time, came back to be told to wait another 20min only to come back and wait for over an hour after the fact and be given the wrong order three times. At least the ladies waiting for their messed up order were nice to talk to. Also i was told he couldn’t add rice to my order today because of something about a sore back. My friend also ordered butter chicken and two chicken samosas which came to us frozen in the middle and were literally bite size.
Went in today order 1 butter chicken meal with garlic naan and two chicken samosas. I got handed curry chicken which had so much spice but no flavour very little chicken with bones in it. No rice and my samosas were frozen. Waited over an hour and a half and this place use to be great clearly you got new management and apparently lower standards. I hope this was an off night if things don’t improve I won’t be returning Food: 1
After waiting over 1 hr for my order to be ready I find out they dont have any rice that was to come with the order. Samosa are abouy 1/3 the size with the previous owner and forgot to put the chicken in the butter chicken. We only get take out but its great. Every few weeks my husband gets a craving for their food and off to Brighton he goes. Butter chicken and chicken curry are excellent. Always have enough left for a lunch the next day. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
