I last visited this restaurant a few years ago with some friends on a busy Saturday night. Despite the crowd, we were eventually seated, but it took the staff 40 minutes to take our drink orders. We decided to also order food since it was getting late. The waitresses seemed disorganized, with one cleaning tables while others avoided making eye contact with customers. As many of the other reviews state, the prices have gone up exponentially in recent times and the portion sizes have decreased at the same time. Service was quick. Food was OK at best. Garlic Bread and Calamari were nice as starters. Penne Arrabbiata was OK but a bit bland. Spaghetti Bolognese was awful. So watery that everything slipped straight off the spaghetti so it was like eating plain wet spaghetti with a brown watery sauce left in the bowl afterwards. It also had barely any flavour. We arrived for our lunch time booking, 2 adults 2 children. One child wanted the burger- no buns!!!! I ordered the Caesar salad and the other adult the lasagne. Other child had the bolognaise. Food arrived but no poached egg as described on the Caesar salad. No eggs!!!! Something will be done when we get the bill we are told. We hadn't visited Prezzo since before Covid. So decided to book a table for 4 to see how it was getting on. Booked table for 19.30 and arrived a few minutes after. After waiting for a while a young man requested we wait in a particular spot as our table was just being cleaned and set up. I couldn't help but notice that their was a table for 4 ready and prepared but not offered. 20 minutes later we were sat down. Staff were polite and quite effecient. We had a very enjoyable late lunch and were seated quickly but given time to choose our meal and drinks. Our starters arrived quickly and were hot and tasty. As we were finishing our starters , we were joined by 2 more family members who initially were only having drinks, so just pulled chairs up to our table. They decided to have something to eat and, without being asked, a very nice gentleman the manager? pulled another table next to ours which made it much more comfortable for them. All our meals were delicious and the service was excellent. Will definitely return and would recommend this restaurant.
We went to this restaurant with family who were visiting the area. My wife's risotto, which cost £15.50, was disappointingly small. When we complained, we were told that it was prepackaged, and this excuse had been used before. They offered to sell us a larger meal instead. The sundaes we ordered were just a few spoonfuls of chocolate ice cream, missing the wafers that were supposed to be included. We left feeling disrespected and like we had been overcharged. We do not plan on returning unless we receive free meals as compensation and an apology.
Right from the start the waitress was rude .I tagged along with my son and bother, last minute. I was paying separately to them and had some tesco vouchers to use. They had 25% off but the waiteess was very rude bout it and wouldn't let us do separate checks ,which is possible. Point blank refused and tried to make us pay together. Never been so embarrassed in my life and the service was awful . The staff spent most of their time talking ,whilst the restaurant was a mess and turned customers away despite empty tables

The food at this restaurant was not satisfying. The meat in the pasta dish was lacking, so I decided to try the ravioli instead. Although it was tasty, it was served cold in the middle. The staff appeared to be making an effort to be friendly, but they seemed overwhelmed with their busyness.
