Tonight, I went to this restaurant with a friend. When we arrived, we ordered drinks and then went upstairs to dance and request songs from the DJ. Despite only having a few drinks over the course of a few hours, we were told we were too intoxicated to be served alcohol. Earlier in the evening, we had to inform the bar staff about men who had followed us from a nearby pub. The men were also refused alcohol, but then the supervisor, who had blonde hair and glasses, decided to stop serving us as well. I ordered a half pint but was served a full pint instead. When I politely pointed out the mistake, the barmaid was rude and unprofessional. I was still charged for a full pint. Once I sat down, I noticed the error and a different staff member was able to correct it and apologize. The restaurant should consider hiring staff based on skills rather than age in order to provide better service.

Very disappointed when we visited Tuesday evening, staff we found was not very friendly at all compared to the staff when we have visited for lunch on various occasions. Two out of Three of us was very disappointed with our meals as well they were not as good as usual. We will certainly not be in a hurry to rush back.

Good food, good beer and friendly staff. Really good place to go to. A variety of real ales that are constantly changing and well kept.

Very lovely pub would Defo recommend and visit again bar staff are very lovely outdoor seating make you very welcome
