Recently, my partner and I had our wedding at this venue after our original location cancelled on us just 10 weeks before the big day. From the beginning of the planning process until the actual wedding day, the staff, particularly our wedding coordinator Jackie, were incredibly helpful. We couldn't have pulled it off without their assistance, so a big thank you. The ceremony room was stunning, the afternoon tea was delightful, and the food was exceptional, accommodating various dietary restrictions. They made sure everyone felt welcome, even assisting my grandmother-in-law who uses a wheelchair. The gardens outside provided a beautiful backdrop for our photos, and we plan on returning soon....
We had our Wedding at Priory House September 2023. It was an amazing day. We had started the planning with the wedding coordinator back in June 2023. Jackie and her team were amazing. Our ceremony took place in the Jacobean room which was perfectly decorated to match our colour theme. While we enjoyed taking photos out in the Priory gardens they turned this lovely little room into a flawless cosy setting to have our afternoon tea. The food was delicious, prepared and served with the utmost care, catering for the dietary needs of some of ours guests. We've given them Five stars, but they deserve a million.
We made a reservation for 4 people but were able to add a 5th person last minute thanks to Lisa who organized it for us. There was a wide variety of teas and a few options for coffee as well. You can have unlimited tea/coffee and can switch between different types. The service was excellent and we did not feel rushed at all. We started with savory items and sandwiches, followed by scones and then cakes. There was plenty of food, so much so that we had some of the cakes packaged to take home.
This was hands down the best afternoon tea EVER non vegan version also good, we bought cakes home as sarnies, savouries and mincemeat scones filled us up.... They can do GLUTEN FREE Amazing staff and the best leaf tea, as much as you can drink, blended to their own recipes and there are many... I defy you to find a better anywhere.... beats certain famous names who charge 2, 3 or even 4 times more by a long long way for quality, price, localally sourced and ambiance and charm....

I had an excellent evening decorating my Christmas cake at this restaurant. Everything was cooked and iced for me, and I was greeted with a glass of prosecco upon arrival. The evening was well-organized and everything we needed to decorate the cake was provided by the very friendly staff, who were incredibly welcoming and encouraging. Thank you so much. I can't wait to come back again.
We had our intimate wedding at Priory House in August 2023, and it was incredible. The staff were amazing, and so very helpful. They really pulled off our perfect day thank you! The grounds itself are absolutely beautiful and made for some amazing photos. The room we had our ceremony in was perfect. Could not recommend Priory House enough for a local intimate wedding!!!
On 8th June we renewed our wedding vows to celebrate our 10th anniversary. The venue was beautifully decorated for our arrival and we were made to feel so special throughout the afternoon. Our guests were well looked after, everything was seamless and the afternoon tea was scrumptious thank you so much to Jackie and the team for making the day so special for us!
Came with friends for a birthday treat Afternoon tea. The staff went above and beyond to be as helpful and attentive without being intrusive.! Dietary requirements so carefully fulfilled, and the food the delicious and so generous. Would highly recommend and we will be back!! Thank you

Held our wedding here in October 2023. Jackie was fantastic in sorting out the arrangement prior to the wedding. The day of the wedding, Jackie and her team made every effort to make it special. Both myself and wife would highly recommend holding your wedding here.
We were married here in July in the Jacobean room. Absolutely fantastic. The girls that work here made sure that every detail was perfect. I'm so glad we were married here.
