Prohibition Port Jeff’s instagram has been making my mouth water for years on instagram and it’s taken me way too long to finally get there and after making it there yesterday for the first time, it was more than worth the wait! Everything was perfect in my experience. Our hostess was both informative extremely inviting, and attentive as she took the best care of me and my wife as we waited for a table to open up on a busy and beautiful day in Port Jeff. Enjoyed a late lunch/early dinner here. Veronica waited on us she was amazing. Genuinely welcoming and friendly it is people like her that made our experience here memorable.We first enjoyed a house special margarita and a smoked old fashioned expertly prepared by Veronica and exactly what we wanted. We ordered a Dirty Mother Clucker and a BBQ pork Grilled Cheese. Served hot and tasty I think the BBQ pork grilled cheese was better than the chicken but both were great with the cold beer that we enjoyed with the sandwiches.Highly recommended if you are fortunate to be waited on by Veronica (all other employees here were also beyond wonderful) you will have a good time!Definitely worth a try. This is a super nice spot. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars all over the board, is because I'm a condescending dude from Manhattan...The food is super fresh and good for food outside of the city. The salad had a bit too much dressing, and the dressing is not 100% accurate. But again for a spot outside of the city it's really nice.Same with the service, the bartender, is really sweet and does her best.I will definitely come back

This restaurant is quite different from others. The food creations are different, but amazing. I'm not a Brussel Sprout guy, but these sprouts are fantastic. Everything we ordered was amazing. This place is worth going to..

Charming place in the village of Port Jefferson. We each had burgers, and it was full of flavor. Nice atmosphere. Great staff and nice menu. Check it out.
