My mother and I decided to try Psychedeli for lunch after it was recommended to us by a friend. We are so glad we did as it is not only a lovely establishment with delicious food, but the staff are polite, cheerful and provide excellent service.I opted for the fresh Herbed Chicken Pesto Sandwich which was absolutely divine. My mother chose a small bowl of chips with gravy. Her comment was “I’m glad I didn’t ask for a large. They were so yummy, but I couldn’t fit them all in.”We both left content and with very full tummies. On our next day trip to Canberra, we’ll definitely be visiting again.
Located on the western fringe of Civic, it's had a good reputation for a while now. I had lunch there due to business in the area and usually I won't have a pasta dish when I go out because I can do that at home any time. I was in the mood for seafood and the seafood linguine caught my eye. Lots of prawns, well-cooked calamari rings, 4 puppies and the pasta cooked just as I like it. The sauce had some chili flakes in it to give it a bit of kick. Served promptly, unobtrusively and hot. Only minor problem was the waiter didn't bring out a spoon. Whatever. It was a good meal.
Excellent coffee and fresh and flavorsome food. However the claims of 'a smile' were lacking. Barista rolled her eyes when I confirmed I was having a take away and said she still had 'all this to do' (wide gesture of all of her coffee orders),when all I was doing was trying to confirm I had ordered correctly not checking on the status of my order. A disgruntled barista took some of the positive experience away from what could be a very nice place to eat.
I just had to eat here as I loved the name. The coffee is most certainly popular with the locals as a busy take out trade was being had. Breakfast for us was large and tasty and they charged a fee for using a credit card - all be it only 10c. I was impressed that breakfast and coffee arrived together - it seemed planned. This was cheap eats and good coffee and thus a good start to a busy day.

I had my 30th Birthday at Psychedeli and I could not be happier with the service provided to me in the lead up to the event and on the night. They were extremely pleasant, flexible and maximised my budget. If you are looking for a venue for your next function, I highly recommend Psychedeli
My pulled pork pie and salad was delicious and filling. The staff are friendly. I like the convenience of this cafe. The quality of the food is quite exceptional. The prices are reasonable considering the standard of the food. I can recommend this cafe.
Love coming past to grab a coffee at any opportunity I can, the coffee is exceptional. The food isn't bad either, have tried the lunch offerings and have always been impressed. Staff are friendly and service is good. Highly recommend you visit!
We had a private party at Psychedeli for around 70 people. The food, service, planning and ambience was fantastic. Pleasure to deal with management and their staff. The venue is something different in Canberra. Fun place!

The best element is the gorgeous entrees that Psychedeli serves. Good café style seating and atmosphere.
This coffee shop is right around the corner from my office so I'm here pretty often.
