Original and brilliant in its own right. Firstly, the location of the bar curates it’s identity but the knowledge of ingredients and knack of the staff are what makes it. Was lovely to be back post lockdown. Booked in on what happened to be a eat out to help out scheme day, so a great set menu of delicious food was an absolute steal and worth more thank we paid. We made up for this with how much we drank. Both food and drink were quality focused something that is fab to see. Excited to try the next version of the menu!
Great to see Public open again! Food, drinks and service were top notch as always with covid measures handled with subtlety so it didn’t take away from the experience. Attention and thought was clearly put in to the reduced drinks menu and how to minimise risk when mixing drinks
Deconstructed Ham Egg and Chips is what Im talking about Anybody there Friday just gone knows how good it was ! £20 for a 3 course menu picking from 2 starters 2 mains 2 desserts Superb Value , Excellent Taste and Experience . Respect Public !!
The food and cocktails are wonderful, as always. The service is attentive but not intrusive. The current set menu offers much better value compared to the pre-lockdown offerings as well.
