This is mine and my husband's go to for Philly cheesesteaks and hoagies. The portions are HUGE!!! the meat is always flowing out of the roll before you even take a bite!!! They have the best cheesesteak, in my opinion over everyone. Pats and Genos have NOTHING on this place. We always bring friends and family here whenever they come to visit and want to try a cheesesteak for the first time or just miss the Philly area and want good food. Prices coincide with how big the portions actually are. My only recommendation is, do not drink their water from the tap, yes that is my only complaint, otherwise treat yo self and get the regular cheesesteak (add mushrooms if you are adventurous), Buffalo c...
I have been meaning to write a review for Pudges for a while now. I have been living in Alaska since 2006, but I grew up in Norristown. In my opinion, Pudges is the best restaurant in the tri-state area. I am a loyal fan of Philly's Pat's and Geno's, but I am willing to travel 4000 miles to Blue Bell and then drive 40 minutes each way to Pudges just to enjoy their mushroom cheesesteak hoagie. It is the best in Pennsylvania. I hope they never change anything because everything about Pudges is superb!
I initially rated this restaurant 5 stars, but my rating has now changed to 4 stars. The first few times I dined here, the food was great, but lately there has been a lack of consistency in quality. Recently, I was craving a steak sandwich from here and ordered one, only to find it was just average. It was not terrible, but it was not as good as I remembered. This experience reminded me why we have not ordered from here in months.
I moved to Montgomery County 15 years ago and have been a big fan of Pudgies since day one. I brought my last cheesesteak from them. They said it would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes, I get there 25 minutes later and still had to wait. The food is over priced and just isn't the same, and the sandwiches are smaller then they use to be. It's a shame because I use to really look forward to a Pudgies cheesesteak. best cheesesteak you will find everywhere bar no. quality meat beautiful quantity. I can only eat 1/2 at a time, it's so big! I have tried everywhere Chesesteaks, including philly, montgomery county south jersey and all I have to say is try to find out for myself. great service! once I went to pick up and there were 5 young, among them me. we were all called mike. strange, but true, maybe it's a Mike thing
Grew up in Montco and we bought only from Ray's and Pudge's. Lived in Baltimore for a decade and the only reason my husband visited my family was for Pudge's. Recently moved to Delco and we still drive to Pudge's for cheesesteaks. We even detoured traveling friends so they could bring 4 sandwiches home to Baltimore. It's a great place.
I ordered online and had Pudge's delivered to my hotel this past weekend. Hands down, this is the BEST cheesesteak I've had anywhere! It was so meaty that the regular size is really enough for two people share. I come to Philly twice a year and have tried many cheesesteaks from the area. This is an official go to for me now!
This restaurant serves some of the best cheese steaks you will ever eat. They are so packed with filling that they serve them with a fork! The chips are delicious and the fries are fresh and hot. The portions are huge. Even though they have moved locations, it is worth the drive. I love this place. Réservez une table maintenant
