"I have been to this restaurant twice since it opened after refurbishment. They have managed to create a smart restaurant atmosphere with child friendly facilities. The food is all good quality and there are some very good dishes but some are over salted. Children are made welcome with a bouncy castle and other facilities so it is great for families with young children."

We ended up in Puerto Chico because it was the only restaurant in the area opened on a Monday night. And we were very lucky because we had an unbelievable experience we never expected to have! We were the only ones for dinner and we had a very personalized service from the best waiter ever. Because we arrived earlier that when the kitchen opened, he gave us bread with tomato as an appetizer, together with a great wine. He informed us about almost every meal in the menu and recommended us food that was not even in it (wonderful solomillo). And the most delicious gin tonic was offered as dessert . The price was lower than expected (very good quality for the money). We will definitely come back!

We were two times during our holidays. The second time the waiter was average, we asked a few questions about the food availability and the answers weren’t very friendly. The black rice wasn’t tasty (our fault as it not very typical) and the digestion difficult for some of us. I really can’t recommend this one with our experience. The feeling with the second visit was a two. The first time was better. The waiters were friendly and the food was better. The fried fish was warm, as it has been waiting for some time. The feeling the first visit was a four star, far from a five.

Very friendly, attentive service and good food at the very end of the port road in San Esteban de Pravia. The restaurant is in attractive ‘conservatory’/glass-windowed style and we sat on the romantic terrace half way up the old light-house. The ‘zamburiñas’ (small scallops) were perfectly griddled and delicious, while barbecued asparagus were fine. They offered us their specialised fish menu and charcoal grilled meats, but as we only wanted a light supper, that will have to wait until our next visit.

We drove here after visiting the beaches in the area, and it was a breath of fresh air to have a comfortable, 'proper ' restaurant after several nights trying to find somewhere that was actually open! A large parking area was also greatly appreciated :D The area is lovely, particularly as the sun sets, and the food was really good. I had fish of the day and my partner had the cachopo, both of which were delicious but very large portions! The service was also very good.
