We were dinning here a few days ago. Waiter was standing and looking at us the whole time. We ordered pasta dishes, could eat quarter of it as all was swimming in butter and fat. Worst part was a dessert, after we ordered the other waiter at the bar was heating all our puddings in the microwave behind the counter and looking all the time that noone sees what he is doing. I would never go back, for the same price can eat fresh and nicely cooked food in other places.
We were in on Tuesday evening. Restaurant was quiet which was lovely as we could chat easily. The service was excellent. There seemed to be only one person on duty and she could not have done more to make us feel welcome. Friendly, helpful, cheerful. We had the set menu. Great variety to choose from. The salmon is huge! Value for money The downside, if any, is that there is a damp smell around the place and particularly in the toilets.
Once upon a time on Hope street.....this was one of the best, now up there with the opposite of that. Food, well below par, in particular mussels, whereupon empty shells....service?? hmmmm, waitress never asked how food was even though it was evident we had left of the meal. As my wife and I generally do in Glasgow, or anywhere else for that matter....vote with our feet, which is a shame because this was one of our favourites.

I have had several beautiful meal times at this place and always leave satisfied and lightly pointed. that makes me happy everything from the lobster bisque.
A good place for pizza and pasta. Fresh ingredients and perfect location makes it a perfect lunch or dinner choice. Staff is always helpful and nice.

The staff were always attending to our needs and the pizza was delicious. Quite expensive but definitely worth it.
