I visited this restaurant about a year ago while out cycling, and even though I only had a coffee back then, I was impressed by the venue and the friendly staff. I always said I would come back to try it properly. This Saturday, we stopped by for an impromptu lunch on our way to Coombs Abbey Park. The experience was just as good as I remembered. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating to my wife, our 1-year-old daughter, and me. We ordered a Chai Latte, a chicken gyro, a pork gyro for lunch, and a slice of toast for our little girl to snack on while we waited. Everything you could wish for in a deli! A wonderful selection of home made cakes and savouries, which were delicious. We had English breakfasts and agreed they were as good an English breakfast as we’d had. Tasty sausages, peppery black pudding, thick toast, buttered mushrooms, the works. Coffee was excellent and to top it all friendly and welcoming staff who went out of their way to help. Only downside? We don’t live locally so could be a while before we are there again!
Delicious, freshly prepared and tasty food that was a delight to eat. Great selection on the menu and great value for money. The staff are so helpful and friendly and we will certainly be returning. It was very busy when we arrived but the owner ensured we were comfortable on an outside table and when a table became free inside we were able to move there. Exceptional customer service provided. I recently visited this Deli after reading positive online reviews, and I was not disappointed. I ordered a coronation chicken sandwich with salad, coleslaw, and crisps to share with a friend. The sandwiches were huge, fresh, and delicious. I also enjoyed a hot flat white, a pot of tea, and a chocolate orange cookie. I would give everything a 10/10. Thank you! Réservez une table maintenant
We found this place when the cafe we were looking for turned out to be closed and a lovely lady pointed us in the direction of the Pumpkins Deli what a gem! It's a busy little place serving the most fabulous food in fact my 91 year old Mum pronounced it the the best breakfast in Britain! The cakes looked amazing too but sadly we didn't have room!
This lovely place has been recommended to me by lots of people. So had a visit today for breakfast. Lovely quaint place in a gorgeous village. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Breakfast and drinks were excellent. Will definitely be going again. I can understand why people have put 5* reviews.
We are regular visitors to Pumpkins, the food is always amazing, they use good quality ingredients, and offer great value for money. The staff super friendly and always make your feel very welcome. There is a good choice of breakfast and lunch options. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed!
This cafe is a hidden gem. We tried the Greek sharing platter and it was absolutely delicious. We had the chance to speak with the owners, who are incredibly passionate about their food and values. This is definitely a restaurant worth visiting. Réservez une table maintenant
