being here again after a couple of months, we realy enjoyed our 5 course eastern diner at this very charming place. We selelected the surprice diner, because we never were disapointed before. Starting with a very tasty amuese geul of nicely served fried goose lever...with plum mouse and a small glas of Sauterne. Followed by a parsnip soupe with croutons made from olive bagette. Having after a fish dish of fried Traute filet served with black rice and asian styled vegetables and souse. Between the fish and following meat, a small lemon sorbet with a shout of wodka was served. The beef filet after was realy tastfull and tender and cooked as on point or medium as ordered. To celebrate Easter, we went to the Pungshaus with the family. The wooden interior creates a warm and cosy atmosphere and you feel very well received when entering. The nice decoration and the exquisit silverware do the rest. All waitresses were very nice (except one...that was a bit less nice than the other two). I went for a wild herbes salad with salmon rolls, filled with cream cheese. The dressing was very yummy and the salmon of high quality. It was followed then by a lamb under ramson crust with avocado mousse and potato gratin. The lamb was prepared at perfection and I have to say that it was amongst the Top 5 lambs I ever had. Yesterday I went with a business partner from Hongkong to the Pungshaus for dinner. It was just great. Very friendly and...competent service. A regular menu card plus a lot of daily specialties. Including a 5 course surprise menu for just 49 Euro or a surprise fish menu with 4 courses at 45 Euro. The wine card is excellent and you will not believe that they start out with a glass of wine 0,2l for 5 Euro. Excellent. We went for a lamb dish and a sous vide dish which was a piece of US beef cooked at low temperatures for 12 hours. Delicious!!...
Went there with a former colleague of mine. The main course we had were both great and we enjoyed it a great deal. Cosy atmosphere. The portions were not exorbitant, so if you are really hungry go someplace else. We preferred excellence over quantity. The...staff was friendly and alert. Prizes were not cheap, but adequate for the quality of food served.

spend an evening in a beautiful place. well pampered by excellent weeping and directed. the environment and service as well as the timing of a 5-course menu made our diner excellent. the quality of all dishes could be made in fine eating in. preparation and taste.
my wife and I went to our jubilee on the 29th july. we have ordered a fish dish and we served a gland and badly seasoned supper with salmon in it. I don't care to pay the price for good food and a cozy atmosphere, but that wasn't. we will not come back.
beautiful place, old wooden framed house, typical of the opposite, eating was good, service friendly a very nice wise to spend an evening, we will be back.
The food is traditional from Germany. Really good and nice looking. The waitress was really friendly and helpull. The decoration is quite nice!
