I have never waited so long for food when there is literally only 2 sets of people in a restaurant. I waited over 45mins for my butter and aloo naan.Naan.. which the butter chicken was so cold and had no taste and the Naan was so salty. The best part I order a small rice and a chai. Never got it until 50mins after I went to ask for it, i got the rice. How do you have a restaurant and have people waiting so long? My advise to management, you need to train your staff on proper customer service methods.I don't think I will ever be ordering from them again. I felt like throwing up. Like come on it shouldn't take 1 and half hour to get food when there is no1 in the restaurant... esp chai
My wife and I visited the restaurant around 8 PM, eager to enjoy some hot, flavorful Indian cuisine. Unfortunately, we left very disappointed. The cleanliness of the place was lacking, and only one person was serving, despite there being just one other table occupied. We had to choose from a limited menu, as many items were unavailable. The food itself was quite bland, and I found the goat biryani to be among the worst I've ever tasted, especially considering I was charged $17 for it. Moreover, their billing system seemed questionable. All in all, it was an experience we would prefer not to repeat anytime soon.
I would give this restaurant more stars if I could! This is my third visit, and the food is absolutely fantastic with generous portions. Each time I've been here, the staff has been polite and professional. My favorite dish is the butter chicken, paired with plain naan—I usually order two to share. The seasoning is spot on, and I'm thrilled to have discovered this place. I typically travel to Plainview or Queens for Indian food, but not anymore—I've found my new go-to spot. Thank you, Punjabi!
Don't know a lot about Indian food but this right here is my FAVORITE! Chunks of chicken in the spicy creamy sauce. I can taste the cilantro in it too! My son and I always share this order and make sure to order extra naan so we can dip it in the sauce. I think I order this once a month and they never disappoint. Food is great if they have the ingredients.. been wanting simple items ex samosas (veg) ordered 3 days in a row and in 3 days in a row my order is cancel due to them not having any veg? If that makes sense. I even order at different time just in case they’re just lazy..
Food was not good. Fries obviously microwaved and found hair in my burger. Also my rest of my food was cold and there was a mass amount of fruit flies everywhere even one in my food). If your in the area just go to Karachi house or Gyro spot, Anywhere except this place
The words very spicy comes to mind but the service was quite friendly. I stopped by there with my family for a quick lunch grab of grub and we wanted to try something different and if you can handle spicy foods then this is a good place to eat.
I actually love going there for breakfast. It feels like I'm back home. The warm feeling! Staff is nice n alot of seating. I've had few things from them at different times. See pix. I like the mango Lassi yum yum
