If there ever was a place where there was more show over substance then this is the place. The warm inviting ambience of the place draws you in with the modern decor and the fancy water wall. You would imagine great tasting Indian food, with spice and flavours of India... Sadly this wasn 't the case. If the decor had to match the food, then it should have been PLAIN WHITE WALLS. The food was TASTELESS, lacked and spice or seasoning. We ordered the Passanda which was simply Cream with Red Wine added at the end which just gave the dish a winey acrid taste. We have been loyal customers of Purple Mango for a long time, trying out various Indian food takeaways in MK. This one is our favorite because of the friendly service and the fact that our order is always ready for pick-up upon arrival. Each member of our family has a favorite dish from Purple Mango, and we always find them to be delicious. The traditional favorites never disappoint, there is a wide selection of starters and side dishes, and the specials are always enjoyable. The meat is tender and flavorful, whether you choose lamb or chicken, and the prawn and fish options are also delicious. Fairly standard restaurant of this type, with the usual dishes on an over-long menu. Decent vegetable samosas to start. Lamb passanda main course consisted of indifferent quality lamb smothered in an unexciting sauce. Quite the least well-made naan I have ever eaten. On a Bank Holiday Saturday the restaurant was fairly busy but by no means full. Service was extremely slow; it was difficult to persuade waiters to take our order at all. We waited over an hour for any food.

I can’t comment on the food but I can confirm that the customer service is really excellent at this restaurant. Unfortunately I made the stupid mistake of ordering a large takeaway from this restaurant before realizing much too late it was the wrong restaurant some 30 miles away! I called the restaurant and despite the enormous inconvenience they were so understanding and said that these things happen. If I ever am in the area I will order! Réservez une table maintenant

Worst Indian meal ever! Started off well poppadoms lovely, onions Bhakti wonderful. That’s as far as it went mains totally tasteless (chicken passanda) they must have missed out any spices had to eat it along with onion chutney to gain any favour. Hubby had a very tasteless side dish with chickpeas. My only explanation was that the chef was off duty that evening, as this place was highly recommended to me!

During a local visit, we searched for a place to have curry and stumbled upon this restaurant. The staff were outstanding, extremely kind, and willing to help with anything. They all had smiles on their faces and made sure every detail was perfect. We opted for the set menu which offered great value. The dishes were served piping hot and tasted absolutely delicious!

This is the best food in Milton Keynes, and I would struggle to find better anywhere. Incredible food. On menu or off menu, the food is hot, flavoursome, well portioned, and we were pleasantly surprised with the price. Another masterpiece from our wonderful friends at the Purple Mango.

First time visiting with friends. Gorgeous food. Dansak on point with a great kick to it. Staff were so great. Always checking in and going above general service. Would highly recommend. Great vibe on a Saturday night. Thank you for a brilliant meal and service. Réservez une table maintenant

We visit Milton Keynes once a year and always find ourselves at this restaurant on Sunday night. It's consistently pleasant and never fails to impress, offering good quality food at a reasonable price.

Really nice food. We visited on a banquet night and was very impressed with the value and quality of food. The staff were very helpful and polite. There is loads of free parking too. Will visit again
