As a party of ten we had just arrived in the area on holiday and needed dinner. Aimed for a nearby cafe which was not serving food so stumbled on Pyle Fish Bar. Ordered online and when we arrived to collect there was a bit of confusion over the order think they had suffered WiFi problems. But the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Took a little while to put the whole order together but the owner/cook enthusiastically insisted the food would be excellent and was all freshly cooked and he was true to his word. Fish and chips, meat and vegan burger, pasta dishes were all very tasty and well reviewed.
Not even half the order turned up. Sausages not cooked properly. Cold chips and no salt and vinegar. Missing a bag of chips, 2 gravy’s, 2 cans of coke and a jumbo sausage. When they turned up they had said they put extra in as they were closing. So i ended up with an extra burnt fish cake and a small sausage in batter that wasn’t cooked properly. Could not phone to complain as they were closed. £20 for 3 meals and they didn’t even turn up. Disgusting!
Must be new owners, because the standards have dropped. Stale smell of fat, chips are more like scrap ends, service very poor, staff complaining and need to learn customer service, staff member outside shouting at people in the car park wearing his apron and smoking,
Where has the young girl gone with red hair really should bring her back always polite and knew how to cook always served you with a smile and thanked you for calling always said enjoy your meal as your about to leave the shop

Nice fish and chips nice and hot and helpful also a good variety of pies fish cakes sausages ect also thekabab shop is attached so a good all rounder
Popped in for something new and had a Mexican style garlic bread which was superb and would highly recommend going to have some of the new menu
Best fish and chips Friendly staff, super quality food. Consistently good and that’s you want from your local chippy!
Had fish and chips, fish very nice,chips not so good,Irish curry ok. Plenty of selection , some difficulty parking
