We popped in here on the off chance of grabbing dinner and a drink before the Fireworks display at the park around the corner. We were really limited and tight on time as we arrived ~1 hour before the display started. We were greeted by a smiley and friendly chap who managed to seat us pretty quickly and the young waitress took our order within 5-10. The Hot Mezze starter was delicious, my partner's lamb chops were delightful and my seafood pasta was ok. I visited Q Bar and Kitchen in Beckham on Wednesday, January 31st, hoping for a family-friendly experience. Unfortunately, the service turned out to be quite appalling. A person named Matthew, who claimed to be the manager, approached my 1-year-old son, complaining about noise without addressing me directly. I reminded him it 's a child-friendly place, and my son was only one years old but he dismissively replied, So, This is not a playground. The situation escalated, involving other customers, revealing there was no actual complaint. The staff 's unprofessional behaviour was unacceptable, and I won 't be returning.
Had the Mediterranean breakfast at Q Bar for the first time. It was very bland and looked unloved. Could tell it was a rush job despite the place being hardly half full. Far too expensive for what it is £10.95, had a Mediterranean breakfast at other cafes in the same area they are a lot better. I hope the owner/chef takes it as feedback and improves. I love the decor there! Staff friendlies are very good. Shame about the food quality.
Have been to the Q Bar Beckenham many times before. Have tried the two course lunch menu and the sunday roast. Went today with my Father in law for the roast. It was awful, soggy roast potatoes, under cooked veg, tough grisely beef, nice Yorkshire pudding though. Considering the price they charge for it they really need to do better. Will go back for the two course lunch but not the Sunday Roast.

We had a great server, she was most helpful. The lamb chops were tender and delicious. But sure they were pricey. The fish was cooked perfectly, I would prefer a bit more flavour though. The mashed potato was perfect. The duck rolls were good. The cheesecake was delicious. The latte was extremely bitter for some reason. Ambience was friendly and I will go back.

Looked good and sound good !! But very disappointing Sunday roast! lamb was two fin slices and well done, three small potatoes seemed deep fried and miles away from really tasty roast potatoes. Carrots so aldente then it was really hard to eat!
Although we have looked in at this restuarant previously this was the first time we have eaten here. Food and service were good and a nice surprise at the end of the meal was the offer of complimentary drinks. As Arnie says I`ill be back .

Great service from a lovely waitress I think her name was Evana ? Really good vegan options available overall a lovely setting thank you !
Service was very poor. Tall young waiter didn't appear to get a great deal of job satisfaction from his work. won't be rushing back there.
