9/2/2023 Update The food taste remains superb. However, I wanted to reflect the fact that meat protion for the pho I ordered noticeably reduced. I can count only 6 pieces of thin slices beef. Trying to reflect my observation and it turned into waitress bad manner and think I'm a bad customer looking for trouble. This is not acceptable and ruined my whole appetite. Now it will give me second thought when I want Vietnamese food again. Too bad, this was my only go-to place before. The broth/soup of pho tastes authentic and far less MSG. The ingredients are fresh, which is important with sliced raw beef. Highly recommended!
While exploring our wonderful world, I have searched far and wide for the best bowl of phò I can possibly find. Up until now, that title belonged to Phò Hòa, an excellent cafeteria style hole in the wall that serves nothing but the Phò in the outskirts of downtown San Diego. I then came across Quán Ngon about a year ago. The chef/owner here is far superior in his skillset, the service is as good as can be and his building offers a great atmosphere. This is now my #1.
Good service, good ambiance, I order Pho no.20 it was hot and nice, veggies so fresh, the broth is so satisfying and aromatic, milk boba tea is good too, not too sweet I liked that Photo was taken when I was halfway, sorry Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

The food is delicious! However, the service is just average. Since 2019, the quality of the food has declined along with the service.

I visited and ordered the same dish I had last week, but today was different. The meat wasn't the same as what I had previously.
Delicious! The pho is a bit more expensive compared to some other Vietnamese restaurants, but it's worth it.
