After a play at the Shorncliffe pier we decided to pop in to the QCYC for dinner and a drink with our children and were very impressed! It's a gorgeous little club with amazing food and helpful service. My Barra was to die for!! Outstanding! Everyone else had great things to say as well. We decided to sit inside next to the little pot belly fire to keep warm but could still enjoy the marina and boats thought the glass doors. The Yacht Club has older style decor but it was super clean and has a great vibe and is extremely kid friendly! Danny also supplied us with some colouring in paper and crayons for the little ones. We will be recommending to all our friends and family. Thank you for a gre...

Stunning water front and so relaxing, very friendly service, delicious food ...We love this place so much !We had some beautiful seafood tapas, "Crispy dill squid with Thai dipping sauce", "Gold Coast tiger prawn, salsa verde, lemon", "Tasmanian smoked salmon, horseradish cream", so fresh and tasty. And as main, "Lamb kofta, yogurt dressing, toasted bread & green salad" was exotic flavour and delicious. "Beer battered Australian whiting" was crispy outside and tender inside and coming with thick crispy chips. Great with beer. "Fettuccini carbonara" was so creamy and so tasty. All food were so good !Having some drinks, enjoying nice see breeze, so comfortable, so happy, we had a great time !

This venue is a working yatch club and has gone through positive change over the last 12 months. 12 months ago the food was mediocre and the bar was pretty average. The current Chef, (Scott), has been on board for around 12 months and consistently delivers high quality, surprising dishes. Via a large outside servery window, you can hear the kitchen working, (this includes positive comments from the Chef to his junior staff), and get a birds eye view of what goes on. The bar has a new manager which is a good thing.Sunset drinks and dinner is just spectacular.

My husband and I frequent the restaurant at the Yacht Club. I have tried many of the dishes and always nice. Tapas is fantastic - many choices and all good especially the Dill Squid. Chorizo and Squid Salad is also excellent. It is open Thursday through to Sunday lunch, including breakfast Saturday and Sunday. There may be some changes to opening times at Easter and special occasions to accommodate yacht races so might be a good idea to call/check with them first.
