"When we're in the area, we usually go there because of very good past visits. And we didn't fail. Orlando, the very friendly owner, accepted us although the site was full, and we had an excellent grilled meat lunch. A very good sign of the site goodness is that it's always used by locals! We will come back when again in Tenerife."

While on a one day trip to Tenerife, we accidentally found this restaurant. It was obviously popular with the locals and we where hungry so we dropped in. We where greeted by an extremely friendly staff. Many of the items on the menu was not available, but with good advice and a ton of enthusiasm we got an excellent 3 course meal. The dessert was on the house. Normally I would not give a raving review to a restaurant where most of the menu items where not available. But when we took the reccomendations we got fantastic food.

Food is terrible, you ask for sirloin and they bring you a piece of sirloin but of pork, which smells like that, pork. He invites you to 4 pieces of fish churro of poor quality and then charges you a little tomato with onion at 3.50 euros (without asking for it). The owner interrupts my conversation with my wife to advertise another business he has in front of the restaurant. He also allows himself to give his opinion about the place where you are going to spend the day in order to discourage. Very, very bad.

We went to Icod looking for somewhere to eat, as it was somewhat late, and we found this restaurante by the road. Food whas excellent: we shared a salad, scrambled eggs and shrimps, and chicken. Everything was very good, and we started to talk to the owner who was a hunter canarian way, with dogs, without gun, and he explained to us all of this sport, showing pictures, with a really pleasant attitude. If you are in the area, try it, it's worthy.
