On my first visit to Cartagena, I was staying in an hostel just a few meters away from Quero Arepa. I had just arrived in Colombia but I knew what arepas looked like. So one night I decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed! Furthermore, I was pleased to notice they had an entire vegetarian menu! What a treat! After traveling through Colombia for a few months, I had other arepa experiences but never as good as this one. So when I came back twice to Cartagena I rushed to Quero Arepa with my eyes closed. Last night I tried the Veggie Hot Dog which was delicious! The attention is always good and it's open late which is not always the case of other restaurants of Cartagena.

Really delicious and well done arepas! I ordered two for lunch, the Nina and the Reina Pepiada. Both were really great, but I preferred the Nina because it was hot. The Reina is a cold dish, more like chicken avocado salad stuffed in the...arepa. It was still yummy just unexpected. Really efficient service from kind servers. Definitely not the cheapest arepas I had in Cartagena but they are bigger and tastier, and well worth the trip.

This food was bland and uninspiring. Our limonada de coco was warm and completely subpar compared to other places in town. I ordered a dish with rice and vegetables which equated to white rice drenched in soy sauce and red peppers - nothing more. Don't let the TripAdvisor reviews fool you- this place is a pass with so many other amazing places to eat in Cartagena. Réservez une table maintenant

Wanted to try arepas this was my first time so enjoyed plain one cheese and another one with carribean sausage, coconut lemonade so refreshing

Very delicious, cheap food with excellent service! Lots of vegetarian options which was great to see. Quite filling too!

Best mojitos inside the walls. They take a few minutes to make but they are worth it!
