It was a quick stop, however wasn't what I expected. I'm from the Forestville area, and I prefer to travel all the way to the Quickway Largo location instead of the one closer to home. I think the food is better there, and the customer service is excellent. I also appreciate that I don’t have to deal with panhandlers in front of the store. The overall atmosphere is fantastic, and the yum-yum sauce is absolutely amazing!
The food was excellent, but the bathroom had a terrible odor. I also noticed that the staff seemed to treat me and my friends of color differently. They often gave us suspicious looks and questioned us when we were at the drink station, as if they thought we hadn't paid for our drinks, while overlooking others. It was an uncomfortable experience.
I used to visit this restaurant frequently, but during my visit yesterday, I noticed that the quality had declined. I couldn't even finish my meal and ended up feeling very ill for the rest of the night, which forced me to call out of work. My boyfriend also got sick.
