I'm sad to write this but we didn't have a great lunch and had been so looking forward to it. My husband took me for my birthday. First off, the restaurant was freezing cold so not a nice environment. It was a cold day so we kinda forgave it. Ordered Oysters then each a starter and a main. My starter arrived along with the oysters so we thought that was odd but when my husbands starter didn't arrive it was clear they thought the oysters were his starter and had forgotten his actual one so a quick apology and he got it. Artichoke and anchovy salad, good god it was disgusting swimming in olive oil. I told him to return it but he was too polite and hungry by this point. The mains were just okay...

A group of us went in November and all ended up ill. The common denominator was the oysters, though Quo Vadis denied any responsibility. Fair enough and they were good enough to offer a complimentary meal up to £150 (original cost was in excess of £500). I went with my husband for said complimentary meal and we were rushed from the very beginning. We’d not even been there an hour and a half and were told they’d need our table back before the stipulated two hours. What a weird experience when they were supposedly trying to make us feel welcome. Sorry, I just don’t get this place. I was a returning customer after numerous visits following a bout of food poisoning though they accepted no respon...
the vibe there are few places in london, which I would like to return to the time. for many different reasons, only few restaurants and bars are actually on the test of the time. quo vadis, captain of sam and eddie hard (from fino and barrafina) and chef jeremy lee, is like a fine wine and is simply better with old. quality is steadfast and never compromised for fashion, luxury is second nature, although never venerable and it is just a great place to have a great old time, no matter which time of day or year they visit. think back luxe laid, there is something clearly English about the deep south above this place; dress smartly or they will feel smartly. very close to my work. we often go to dinner in the evening. more beautiful place, eating surpasses the expectations, the only bit that they must be careful is the waiting time. when they go late in the evening, they expect a waiting period of at least one hour, but otherwise one must be from my perspective pav bhaji is one. although I am a vegetarian, but my friends recommend very huhn rubin and keema pav. I went some time ago to vadis, and I see from zomato that her menu has changed. the qw is located in dean street, right in the heart of soho, serving British/European food in a very formal atmosphere, or so I thought when I left. try the filet steak with bear sauce if they still have it. I had an excellent chocolate base as well as with pistachio ice cream.
the entrance is quite large. I was immediately reminded of those posh restaurants I would visit with my family if I couldn't afford to eat on my own cost. apron and tie waiting staff around, mirror, leather sofas and a large number of chrysan themes and orange and lemons at the door. beautiful glass windows with views of the dean street.
Lovely ambience, beautifully designed menu, delicious food, gorgeous wine, great old fashions, top service and a cosy fire place to sit around after your
Our lunch meal was excellent as was the service. Would certainly visit there again. A tad surprised there was no vegetarian option on the menu. Réservez une table maintenant
Really good english breakfast in a quiet restaurant We went there on 10am and it was empty so we enjoyed the restaurant all to ourselves.
