Some of the greatest discoveries when travelling is finding these local small food offerings that exceed your expectations of how good it should be. QVFC served up one of the best crispy and delicious fish and chips I've eaten on the island. Can you believe it's out of a food truck by the water also? How freaking cool is that! Cod is king on the Rock and they serve ultra fresh crispy cod and chips here. Simply delicious!
QVFC, yours really is the best fish&chips ever. I'd ask you to share your amazing Iceberg Batter recipe with me, but I know you'd have to kill me if you did. So ... will you let me in on the second thing that I found amazing about your F&C? It was the salt flakes. What a treat! Will you let me in on the brand you use?
my favourite spot last year, had it today and fish not crispy, fries greasy soggy, oil needed changing maybe and fish in longer. Had the cod bites and hubby had the fish burger, which had almost no fish and fell apart. I wouldnt go back now, especially for how much it is.
When visiting the St. John's area last weekend I had a chance to have fish chips a few times and QVFC was the best. The freshness was incredible and your batter put it over the top. Excellent fries too. Réservez une table maintenant
