We stopped at this small pub after noticing the good reviews it had. From the outside we didn't really know what to expect but once we got inside we were greeted with great service with a nice sports pub feel. The menu is simple but includes pub favorites perfect for going out with friends and watching the game on one of their TVs. We weren't in the mood for wings (which we had heard were great) so I had the taco salad and my boyfriend had the R U Serious Burger, we also had Poppers to start. Everything was great! The salad was fresh and filling, and the burger and fries were delicious. Would definitely go back!
From the moment we stepped into this restaurant we were greeted with a huge smile from the server behind the bar who then told us to find a place wherever we wanted. After we sat down within minutes we had our menus , drinks and they asked us if we had any questions ! My friend got a burger, I got a serious wrap and wow we were just blown away ! The fries were cut fresh , the burger was huge and I couldn't even finish the wrap ! We were in and out within the hour and left with full bellies and smiles on our faces :) we will be back for sure !! If you haven't checked this place out , get on it ! :)
Bar atmosphere, bar food. Typical stuff. But the doors were open as it was a nice day and the smokers who were outside made out visit very uncomfortable as the smell and smoke wafted in. Otherwise it was ok. We had the wings (cajun dry and medium wet) which were good. The potato wedges are overpriced but not good or bad. Lots of bacon and cheese on top but bland otherwise. The fries were good and we'd get them again. The prices weren't bad either except for the potato wedges which were homemade but again a little bland for out taste.
We were driving through Guelph and wanted to find a great place to eat. R U Serious popped up. Wow. The food is crazy great as our daughter couldn't believe the size of fish she got. The burgers are homemade and the mile high roast beef sandwich were unbelievable. Our server Kim (we found out she is also one of the owners). made us feel completely at home. Her smile was all encompassing. We will definitely come back to this place! See you next time we visit Guelph
Been going here since before they moved from across the road. Wings rate with the best anywhere else. Also do Burgers really well. The key to it's success is the service.Dave and the rest of the staff always treat you as friends. Also, good selection of beer on tap. If you are looking for a friendly, clean, blue collar pub, this is it.
For an out of the way, west end bar, I absolutely love this place. It's a bar that clearly has a well established group of regulars, but people are so welcoming and friendly. The servers go out of their way to chat, are quick, and the food is shockingly good. Great place to watch a game, go for a pint after something, or grab a dinner.
R U Serious is one of those rare restaurants that leaves you happy and satisfied every time you visit. The staff is extremely friendly and always goes above and beyond expectations. I have been there more times than I can count and have never been disappointed! Oh yeah, the food is also delicious!
