We have always enjoyed paella here and make a point of going whenever we are in Moraira. Not sure what has happened to this restaurant but the first evening we tried to get a table as it didn't seem busy the 2 front of house staff didn't really seem engaged or bothered to try and accommodate us. The next evening we spotted the manager and asked to book a table for a future evening. The night we were eating there the manager wasn't around and quite frankly the service was awful/non existant. Staff were slow, didn't't follow up to see whether we wanted more drinks, desert, didn't offer us any bread/aoili when telling us our paella would be 40 mins. For starters we ordered calamari worst calamari ever been served soggy under cooked, almost like the fryer was not up to temperature. For main course I had the shoulder of lamb, I asked and was told by the owner it came with chips and vegetables, it came with chips and a small ramakin of rice with flecks of Broccoli and carrot!! the plate was swimming in grease, obviously the lamb was cooked in a bag and the bag had been opened on the plate, if you could imagine chips and rice in a bath of lamb fat you would get the picture. The owner new new I was unhappy with my meal but couldn't care less!! I have eaten at this restaurant occasionally for the last 10 years and can honestly say the standar...
We reserve to eat and we are so happy that we reserve there to repeat another day. We tried the octopus, which was very good, shrimps to the very rich chin, boar and seafood paella. between these last two, I stay with the noodle, although the paella is also very good.
the name says everything, corner of rice (in capital letters). quality products, excellent treatment, very friendly. Sometimes we've tried to eat always busy, now I know why. I don't put five stars because the chair was a little uncomfortable. Réservez une table maintenant
