We were VERY pleasantly surprised by the quality, the service and the value of this restaurant which is situated in the heart of the old town and is the only quality budget choice available. I am calling it budget because the 3 course set meal is priced at 12€ but the quality was very good. The service was attentive and the recommended wine was excellent. We were given an excellent table and the restaurant although small was laid out so as to allow a spacious dining experience. A great place to relax and and unwind after a day of museums,towers and churches !
Very cosy place with atmosphere, excellent friendly service (limited english I found the food itself a bit above average (maybe due to limited spanish skills I selected wrong but service was excellent (as most places in Spain and the wine very nice. Dessert selection was standard and for my understanding not according the level of the rest of the chef's skills Though Excellent value even the extra 0,5l bottle of water was 2,2€ (moon price made for us tourists? recommended but ask prices for stuff which isnot on the menu!
An easy styled restaurant in a scenic location in the old town of Caceres. We ate there 3 nights, as we rated it the best restaurant find on our 9 day holiday in Spain. Excellent value menu del dia for €10 per person. Night 1: wonderful food and service. Night 2 : good. Night 3 : Very good. The waitress there deserves special mention as she raised the standards on night 1 and night 3.
I visited with a friend and all our children for dinner last September. It was very full so service was a bit slow but the waiter was very nice and we knew ahead it would take some time. The food was quite good and the value for money correct. The place is very nice and the location is excellent, a trip back in time. I will return.
