We had reserved a table here and had high hopes. We arrived a few minutes early so the table was being used by another couple but they were happy to let us sit with them and we duly ordered a drink and then our food. On a hot summer evening the terrace is a lovely place to sit, across the river from the outdoor concert arena. We thought we had ordered our food but after 40 minutes nothing had arrived and then the waitress came up and admitted she had forgotten to take our order. We were offered Pretzels as a way of apology, neither of us like them, so we declined. Eventually the food arrived with an apology but by then we had rather lost our appetite. I am sure this is not a common occurrenc...
We were desperate for a cold drink on a very hot day and came across this bar/restaurant by the river. We had a Pina Colada ice cream sundae and it was delicious. It is a shame we couldn't sample more of their cuisine as it looked very inviting. The bar is on the ground floor (as are the toilets!), and I lost track of how many floors there are before you get to the open air section. Very quaint, but modern at the same time. I love quirky places and this is certainly one. We had a coffee here the following day in the bar, which was so much cooler than sitting upstairs in the open, but both were a good experience.
Nicht das erste mal, aber das erste Mal im Bereich unter freiem Himmel. Das letzte mal war das Wetter nichts, aber nun im Mai 2017 war das Wetter sehr schön und wir konnten draußen sitzen. Das naturtrübe Zwickel hat uns beiden sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Speisenkarte ist für einen Bierausschank auch gut und vielseitig. Gutes Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis.
После прогулки по городу зашли, чтобы основательно отужинать и насладиться видом на Эльбу. Хорошо удалось только второе. Еда очень средняя (что салаты, что суп, а рулька вообще получилась очень сухая, пережаренная), пиво тоже не впечатлило (возможно, потому что еще днем пили в Праге Pilsner Urquell). К виду на Эльбу претензий нет.
Wir haben hier kurz Rast gemacht um ein kühles, frisch gezapftes Radeberger zu genießen. Der Blick von der Dachterrasse ist einfach unglaublich. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Günstig ist es allerdings nicht unbedingt - 0,33 l Radeberger für 3,50€. Trotzdem finde ich persönlich ist es einen Besuch wert.
Excellent food for reasonable prices. Local cuisine as well as international dishes available. There are some interesting local dishes which you try. Try a "Beer-Bowl" which is a mixture of a local wheat beer, vodka and some fruits. Attention: Not more than 2 are recommend.
