We rang and booked for Monday night and I reckon we got the...last table inside. We decided to have all entrees and we were not disappointed. Washed down with a Long Island Iced Tea and a bottle of white. We ordered the olives, king salmon creviche, African lamb sosaties, chicken breast lollipops and the Cajun popcorn. The restaurant was buzzing - great to be out with so many people having fun. Our waitress was delightful and made good recommendations. We loved the sosaties as a starter - tender and tasty. For main course we enjoyed sirloin slippers and the most tender baby octopus curry I believe I have ever had. And the Portuguese tart with coffee was just perfect. The wine list is interesting and the beer list great. For us a highlight was appropriate portion sizes with an emphasis on quality and flavor not quantity. Not a cheap night out - but we got what we paid for. Fabulous!
Food is good, service is atrocious, they have clearly forgotten their roots, preferring mature aged mainstream locals over more diverse groups, regularly discriminating against the latter, the boss treats their minority staff like third class citizens, aggressively yelling and gesturing to them, silencing them to...the point of harassment. Insufficient competition around, poor business practices, especially post covid.
This place was amazing. A wonderful variety of dishes which were hard to choose between. The main waitperson was also amazing service was fast, efficient but also friendly. While it got a little noisy at times, it was still OK to have a conversation...across the table without a problem. Would definitely return if we are in Cremorne again.

This place has almost perfected the feel of vintage adventure. The old movies playing and the decor give it a great Art Deco feel. Very convenient for a post or pre film dinner at the orpheum over the road. The food was wonderful and adventurous too. Not fine dining but good casual fare in a great atmosphere.
What a fabulous night! My husband wanted something different for his birthday. He was not disappointed and he can be quite judgmental!! Incredible service and the most delicious meals. Meats cooked PERFECTLY, with beautiful flavours and sides. If only we had room for dessert. Definitely next time!
We had a lovely meal here last night. The menu was extensive and each of the dishes we chose were delicious. We shared our meals and they were well timed. I would certainly go to Radio Cairo again and can thoroughly recommend it - you won't be disappointed.
As soon as I walked in at 5:15pm on a Monday night and saw several tables already seated, I knew I was in for a treat! The divine cocktails, delicious food and cool beats make Radio Cairo a MUST visit!

The South African sausages were really the big hit- homemade, not too fatty but wonderfully seasoned. The fried chicken also went down well- not quite karaage, but a nice take.
Love this place. I've been going to Radio Cairo for many years. It never disappoints. The Afro fries are delicious and the 'slippers' my favourite dish.
