What an experience…. I just move to Va and it was my First time here. As I walked to the front desk no one acknowledged me not even a help, how can I help you. They kept up their conversation with the friend standing near by. Then went to the back like I was never standing there. I was so confused. Mind you I placed and online order for pickup that said it would be ready by 7:55pm I got there by 8:27pm. At this point I’ve stood there with no one acknowledging my presence for about 7 to 8minutes. I Finally noticed they had a bell to ring and I rang it . No on comes out. I rang it again and again. 5 more minutes goes by before she comes out. At this point am furious and asking about my order....
All-kinds-of-wrong happened when I came to this restaurant. It 's very greasy-spoon type place with dirty plastic bags as curtains to cover the kitchen. Service took about two rings until a lady came out chewing and wearing food. There was a man previously at the counter, but left as soon as we walked in. I ordered online, but they could not find it. The man kept calling me over to the counter and grabbing at my phone to see the order. Finally, after 2 hours of waiting, we got our order. The man would call us to pick up the order, then grab the order and look through it. And, again, grabbing at my phone to see the order for the 10th time.I tell you...it was like I was in a comedy skit or bei...
This is the first time I've come here. I've grown up with African food. I could not wait to come here and when I got here the service was horrible. I felt ignored and unwanted. I seen customers that wait for many, many hours. Maybe 1 hour maybe 30 minutes when they've already ordered just theirs. I have asked her to put spinach in my suit. She gave me an attitude I called before I came and asked them if they had Ghari. They said yes when I got there. They said they never served it. I was disappointed with them. The food is good. I like it. It's hot fresh. But I will never come here again because of customer service sucks.
Best Ghanaian restaurant in the DMV! The best part is that it serves TZ, which all other Ghanaian restaurants don't have. I also like the Ghanaian Highlife music in the background, which makes me feel like I am in Ghana again.

Food was nasty and they never have anything on the menu you want. Peanut butter stew was horrible and explains as well. The joloff rice nasty and was not even seasoned and the fufu was probably box mashed potatoes
The food was very good and delicious. The customer service was also top tier, the music set the African theme. Everything about this place was authentic I definitely recommend.
Brotherly, your silly attitude is what it take in life and you sounded unprofessional for $23 worth of food. Like I said you will get it infront some day. Mr Richy Rich ?
This is the best West African food I’ve had outside of West Africa. The okra stew, gist and fish was on point. Banku also excellent.Delivery took a while, though.
