Me and my friend had just gotten...out of a taxi and were deciding where to go when all of a sudden a bouncer who was small man who thought he was God’s gift demanded our ids in a horrible manner. We couldn’t understand him as we are English so we said ‘what?’ Then he simply screamed in our face to ‘f off’ we did absolutely nothing wrong and he then proceeded to tell everywhere else to not let us in then laughed in our faces as we had to get an Taxi home, we felt utterly abused and dis...
the railway (or whatever it was called before) is the pub for a last drink to go before they are a taxi or if they are out of the train of cardiff and are on the way to home. it is old-fashioned,.dirty, served drink in plastic glasses, full of middle-aged people who should really not be out and over this time of night, a little viehmarkt and can be a little full too time. in a word brilliant. ok, it is not for the more refined customer, but everyone has a good time, drink, dance and make fool of themselves. on an attentive note to the more energetic .... the security are at the point of all infinite and they are escorted.
the railway is more than a trinkkneipe than a restaurant oriented. the selection of the beer is good and they are all well kept, cannot remember that a bad pint here at all. they have a great karaoke on a Thursday night and. the place will be later on Friday and Saturday evening to the disco/club. there are two things that need an enormous improvement, the gents toilets, they require urgent refurbishment/improvement and two is the stairs that leads to them that can be quite frightening.
I will be this place after a terrible treatment from doorstaff who think they are something special. I was treated with a friend who has an impediment (brain injury) and was terrible by doorstaff, who were extremely arrogant. I will write formal letters...to her employer and try to awaken the awareness of equality and discrimination. These young men must continue to train. vile.

We finished our night out here and the reputation I'd heard of it was that it was a bit of a dive. However, it was quite full and everyone seemed to be having a nice time. There was decent music on the decks and a...dance floor that was full of energy. There was a scuffle outside at the taxi rank at one stage but no more than that and it was a good place to finish our night out.
This is a nice centrally located pub in Bridgend. It can get quite busy in here, but even so the atmosphere is generally great, and the beer is pretty good also.
A night out with a few mates Champions league final.Buzzing evening very busy but plenty of places to sit good drink good music all in all great atmosphere
Love the rustic charm. This pub is plain and old but the food is fab but not fancy. Plain home cooking for a very reasonable price. Love this pub!

Good old fashioned pub food! Quick cheap and cheerful! Can’t fault it! Also enjoyable for a few drinks on a weekend!
