Raja Monkey - Réservation de table

This was our first visit which I wish we had been sooner . The manager greeted us and escorted us to our booth which was ideal. He explained the menu and gave us some great information on the food. We ordered some recommended dishes and we wasn’t disappointed. The food was amazing and totally diffrent from your run of the mill indian restaurant. The portions were just right. We had red wine and bottled beer that was lovely. shame not draught but no problem. We carnt wait to return. We would recommend the Raj Minkey to anyone who appreciates a different curry experience. Great food good drink friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great atmosphere.

Our table was booked for 7pm. We ordered starter and main. The starters were served pretty quickly but the main was not brought out to us until nearly 9pm. Staff then put the air conditioning on so it felt as though they were trying to usher us out quickly after we ate our main course. I asked 3 times if the AC could be turned down or redirected and although 3 different colleagues agreed to turn down the air conditioning, the AC remained on and I was absolutely freezing. We also ordered tea and coffee afterwards but this did not warm me up either

Finding ourselves in the area unexpectedly, we managed to get a last minute booking at Raja Monkey. A party of 4, two of us had been to the restaurant before and two were visiting for the first time. We chose to have a selection of starters or small plates to share between us rather than ordering main courses. Everything we had was delicious, representing really high-end Indian food but at a very reasonable price. The Harissa Chicken was so hot it blew our heads off! We really loved the prawns and the scallops in particular.

Now been here twice. Both times the food and service was amazing. Sat in a booth and watched the food being cooked. When it arrived, what an experience. The samosas were great and came with a very tasty salad. As a main the smoked mutton is simply amazing and would strongly recommend this. Other dishes are equally as good. Service is very attentive with a smile. Now my favourite Indian. Only small downside is that the price of a small Cobra is £3.99, which is excessive given they’re bought from an off licence Réservez une table maintenant

Would return here in the blink of an eye. The food was amazing and the staff were knowledgable so able to make recommendations based on what we liked or didn’t like. They were also knowledgeable on wines here and would recommend based on other glasses I had. The service was quick and the waiting staff at the location were friendly and very on the hall, they offered drinks before you finished and remembered your drinks orders so would simply say ‘same again’ which was such a good touch.

Lovely meal this evening with sister. Great service, tasty food, friendly staff. Hadn't been since it had moved from the previous space, next door. Will definitely be returning. Sister had salmon for starter done perfectly, not over cooked, and I had the tandoori chicken which I enjoyed. Both had thalis mine was with the butter chicken.

Omg what an amazing restaurant, the food was delicious and the staff were very knowledgeable so able to make a choice of what we liked or didn’t like. We will definitely be back , staff were also were extremely helpful with choice of wine. Definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful food for all palates including Vegans/Vegetarians. I would highly recommend a visit, service was also an added bonus, well-done guys I have considered ordering a takeaway meal but the prices are the same as eating in the restaurant which is not cheap. Réservez une table maintenant

best indian in birmingham,food is amazing very close to home taste,my favorite was the monkfish moilee coconut cream source with mustard,,you can literally taste that mustard at the back of your throat.,,

Fantastic food and amazing service will definitely be returning! Had a selection of small plates and starters the prawns were outstanding.
