It wasn't even there. It's a 3 hour drive from my house, but in my opinion it's worth the trip. The updated menu is great and the food was fairly well prepared and tasteful. The choices cover a wide range, from all kinds of seafood, steaks, burgers, salads, spuds and a miracle from sides. Something for every wish, including children. Jose was our server. He's one of the best I had. He knew the menu very well. I ordered the half dozen oyster appetizers he suggested that he could combine 2 there are many to choose) so I could 3 of one and 3 of others. The first time here and will definitely go back. The waitress seemed overwhelmed with the big party, but she managed not very friendly but not rude, had simply a lot on her mind possibly. The food was fresh, it doesn't smell like seafood when you entered and so was a very good sign in a seafood restaurant for me, that means everything is very fresh. The food was hot and all our special enquiries were met without any problems and at no cost and it was super great environment thanks again Ralph Kacoo's

We had a great meal here last weekend. There were 5 in our group and everyone enjoyed their meal. We arrived late at 10:00 when we spent the night in Lufkin. They were kind enough to sit on us since they closed at 10:30. Most of us had shrimp, which was easily bestowed with good taste. We all had different sides that were also delicious. Service was very good!

We love it here. The kids enjoy the fish/turtle tanks. Cute gift shop. And the food is always amazing. We've never had bad service, the servers are always right on top of everything.We will continue to drive over an hour to eat there.

The food was excellent. The oysters we cooked perfectly. Had the 8 sampler and the Ralph plate.
