I typically would rate this restaurant 5 stars, but the wait tonight was simply unacceptable. There were two servers on duty, but only one was actually taking care of customers. The other server appeared to be more preoccupied with preparing for the next day and cleaning the counters. This continued for at least 20 minutes. I was worried that the server was about to leave, as they were gathering their keys and personal items, but eventually they came to the second window after many customers had already left due to the lengthy wait. While they were friendly, their level of customer service was lacking.
I brought my granddaughter to Ralph's Italian Ice to reminisce about her younger days. She's 13 now, and we recently lost her Papa, so this outing was a special adventure with her mom and me. I shared with her how her Papa and I used to take her and her older brother to Ralph's, followed by feeding the ducks at Ronkonkoma Beach, spending time at the playground, and enjoying the water. It was a wonderful trip down memory lane. I also recounted the captivating legend of the Indian princess—definitely worth looking up!
As summer draws near and temperatures climb, this restaurant is always lively with patrons. However, I would appreciate it if they put more effort into keeping the surrounding area tidy, and I hope that customers will also contribute to maintaining cleanliness. The ice creams here are delicious and not overly sweet. I like to order the smaller size so I can sample various flavors. My favorite so far is the strawberry cheesecake, which is packed with chunks of cheesecake and strawberries. It's simply delightful!
I took my grand daughter here to relive when she was younger. She's 13 now. We just lost her Papa, this time her adventure was with her mama, me! It's Okay. We went there for their newish soft serve flavors, but it looks like they are not pushing them, either no crowd interest or the kids behind the counters didn't get the machines going
The best Italian ices you can find! The owner is incredible! We sampled the rainbow ice and a cake batter shake, and they made for the perfect summer treat!
Everytime I show you around 10:30 when it?s ?open? till 11 they are always closing early how about switching times. Some of us value our time.
Love this place and so do the kids, especially after a BBQ in the summer. So many great Flavors, and Service is Quality.
