I normally would give this restaurant 5 stars, but the wait tonight was unacceptable. There were 2 servers working, but only one was attending to customers. The other server seemed more focused on preparing for the next day's business and cleaning the counters. This went on for at least 20 minutes. I thought the server was about to leave as they gathered their keys and personal items, but they finally came to the second window after many customers had already left due to the long wait. While they were friendly to customers, their customer service was lacking.
As summer approaches and the temperature rises, this restaurant is always bustling with customers. However, I do wish that they would make more of an effort to keep the surrounding area clean, and I hope that customers will also do their part to help maintain cleanliness. The ice creams here are delicious and not too sweet. I prefer to order the smaller size so I can try different flavors. My favorite so far is the strawberry cheesecake, which is loaded with chunks of cheesecake and strawberries. It's absolutely delicious!
I took my grand daughter here to relive when she was younger. She's 13 now. We just lost her Papa, this time her adventure was with her mama, me! I told her how her Papa and I would take her and her older brother to Ralph's first then to feed the ducks at Ronkonkoma beach and then the playground and to the water . It was a walk down memory lane. I also told her about the legend of the Indian princess. Look it up. The story is very interesting. ????????
As summer approaches and the hot days are coming, this restaurant gets packed. I do wish they would maintain a cleaner environment and I hope customers could help too. The ice creams here are tasty and not too sweet. I prefer the smaller size so I can try different flavors.
