Ramen Azuma - Réservation de table

This is one of my favorite local spots to grab ramen in North Jersey. My go to order is the Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen. A little background on my taste in ramen I usually prefer spicy ramen because it 's more flavorful and my favorite ramen of all time is Ichiran. In general, I have not found many ramen spots I like in NJ (especially when comparing to Ichiran). The tonkatsu broth is creamy and flavorful on it 's own! (TIP: try the broth without the spice before mixing it in). I always like to take a few sips and savor the salty, creamy taste before mixing in the spice. the vegan options at ramen azuma are super! the part is large and filling. they don't wear on the tofu or sweet. if they eat a drink, they can't go wrong by adding one to their court! also the Tofu Appetizer is very delicious. all employees are very nice and professional. because of the kovid they have opened a large outside space. when they order, it's always ready. note: bamboo shoots in pork broth! ask her server to replace something else for her updated by previous review on 2021-06-30

The guy making ramen was absolutely killing it. Not only was he keeping up with all the food, but he was directing staff so efficiently and even took orders. Tonkotsu ramen and gyoza was great. Nice, rich broth and lightly torched cha-shu with a perfect egg. They gave me the ramen first and the dumplings a little later. It is one of the few places that I can keep coming to and not get bored. Their food just feels so homy. It's a small place but I think that's why it feels so warm and comforting. This was an incredible eating experience, I had the Ramen Bowl With Yakiniku and it was divine! It was a Large portion and plenty of different flavors to enjoy for a good price. The service at this restaurant was excellent! Jonathan went above and beyond to make our lunch experience enjoyable. The food was a 4 out of 5, service was a 5, and the atmosphere was a 5 as well. I highly recommend trying the Tonkotsu Ramen and the Ramen Curry.
