Ramen & Dumpling House

Had a few meals in this place over the month for dinners at Mount Waverley. All dine in experience.Staff service is a mixed. Most are polite, others will just physically push you aside with their body while you're sitting down to serve or clean the tables.Tried the pan fried dumplings, shanghai fried noodles and chicken & prawn wonton noodle soup on three different occasions. The pan fried dumplings and chicken & prawn wonton are nice. Better tasting and quality than most restaurants which charges more for the same dishes.However, the shanghai fried noodle is underwhelming given the type of noodle used is not suitable for stir fry. When they first opened the service was pretty good, but it has gone down hill since. We waited 5 mins to be seated - there were only 3 customers inside & it wasn't even peak... completely ignored. Finally when we were seated, we waited another 10 mins before the waitress came over (my kids were taking turns putting there hands up for service!)10 mins later only 3 of our 4 dishes arrived. By the time we finshed all dishes about 20 mins later, our 4th dish still didn't arrive! However we noticed that the couple who came after us got all their meal so we asked them about our dish. All they said was its coming.... so we waited and stared at our empty plates for another 5 mins before asking again...

We always look for a good restaurant near the Pinewood Waverley Cinema for a meal before or after a movie. Ramen & Dumpling House located not far from the cinema and I was pleasantly surprised with the food and services provided. The restaurant is small and very busy during lunch time. The pot of green tea was very welcoming. We ordered the “Pot Sticker” or Gyoza. The pan fried pork dumplings were made on site and the pastry were light with crispy base. The dumplings were not oily. These dumplings bring back very fond childhood memories. My late mother used to make them as snack or lunch for us when we were kids. This is the second restaurant that met my expectations of a good home made dump...

This is a relatively new restaurant at Pinewood and it is so popular. There are a variety of dumplings and main courses to chose from. There's nothing better on a Friday night than sitting and enjoying a selection of dumplings, a great way to start off the weekend Réservez une table maintenant

Went in because it looked busy - service was fast but brief, never came back to see if we wanted any thing else. Food was very tasty and a very good size. I'd certainly go back especially if going to the movies nearby. As a vegetarian I was well catered for too.

The pork buns at this restaurant were indeed juicy as advertised. The beef brisket noodle soup was delicious and presented excellent value for money. The service was top-notch in terms of quality.

A small and seemingly perpetually busy location, this venue offers a rather cramped and austere seating arrangement that includes lots of stools.

The dumplings at this restaurant are fantastic! They are incredibly juicy and tender.
