The staff is friendly and efficient, ensuring that your food arrives promptly. There’s a nice variety of breakfast and brunch options available. We tried one Dad's breakfast and two Mom's breakfasts—one with sausage and the other with bacon. Been wanting to brunch here for the longest time! And so happy to finally have gotten to do it! It was totally worth the wait, but also sad that I waited so long and didn’t do it earlier! Got one of their best sellers, the blueberry pancakes and so fluffy! The pancakes were so soft and the blueberries were topped and filled and just loaded into the pancakes! My first bite was without syrup and honestly, it didn’t even really need it, but doing so leveled up these pancakes! Totally enjoyed it thoroughly! I absolutely love breakfast, and this place has an incredible variety of breakfast and brunch options available all day long. Upon arrival, we were asked to show proof of vaccination and were allowed to pick our own table since the restaurant wasn't busy at that time. The staff were friendly and accommodating, giving us plenty of time to make our choices. We ordered the "Avocado Brie Omelette" with ham and "Ramona’s Banana Bread French Toast" topped with a poached egg. Last week, we visited Ramona’s Kitchen on Bayview for the first time, opting for dinner instead of breakfast. I ordered the eggs Benedict, which were absolutely fantastic, while my husband chose the omelette with jalapeño peppers. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, and our server Anna was incredibly sweet. Since it’s primarily a brunch spot, there weren’t many customers, so we had the opportunity to chat with Anna for a while, and she was very warm and friendly. We definitely plan to return soon because the food is that delicious! I work nearby, so I also stop in for their coffee during my shifts, which is equally delightful. For a cozy place it sure packs a punch. Weekday menu is different than the weekend menu (I've been there for a weekend brunch only once before) but there are plenty of options either way. Not only are they friendly there, the food is so deliciously fresh and tasty. I had regular eggs benny and my friend had the brie and avocado omelet. I'd say equally delicious.i asked for the hollandaise on the side Good portion size for us too. If you're in the neighborhood, you've got to try this place. ps we enjoyed the coffee too.
I visited on a weekday for a quick snack and ordered the spinach feta pastry along with a cappuccino. Both were delicious! The service was excellent and prompt. While they didn't offer to heat up the pastry, I'm sure they would if you asked. The seating arrangement is beautiful, with plenty of space. I can imagine this place gets busy on the weekends. The brunch menu looks tempting, and I will definitely return to try it someday!
Visited Ramona's Kitchen for breakfast for my dad's birthday. The food was okay, like any typical breakfast spot. The flavor was a bit lacking for me. I was actually disappointed that the potatoes were not tri-coloured as advertised on the menu. The food itself gets a 3/5 , the service was pretty good and quick. If you're in the area and looking for a spot, check it out. I might go back to try the Challah French Toast.
This isn't my first visit to Ramona for brunch! As always, we had to wait a bit before being seated. The brunch dishes here are fantastic. We ordered the Egg White Frittata, Spicy Egg Benedict, and California Benedict. The Egg Benedicts came with a delicious runny yolk. I love salad, but the tri-color fries are a must-try side!
