This place looks great, is in a good location and has lovely staff. However! The food really lets the place down, and the atmosphere (no music) is not much better. On the first visit I went just for a lunch. I ordered prawns and they were not very clean, most still had the gastro tract still in and they were a bit gritty, not at all pleasant. The sauce they came in was like a thousand island dressing from a bottle. One friend has a house salad which looked quite good though. The second time I tried the pasta pomodoro, it was hideous. We were a family group to celebrate a birthday, and the truth, that both meats and fish were very good and very well cooked. We used to love Ramos but recently it’s been dragged downhill by terrible food. The venue looks great but the actual quality was terrible. It feels like the original owners have moved on and the new ones are cutting corners. Rubbery calamari, bland mussel, over cooked chicken, bland gambas al pilpil. We left very disappointed and won’t go again. Shame to see such a well established, family favourite fall so far.

We've been great, so much we've repeated. the reasons: the quality of the food (spicuous specimens, we taste them sardines, pargo -excellent and prepared by marcelino- and salmonetes, we have to take into account that we have eaten twice), the ratio caildad/price and the professional and friendly attention of all the people who were in the service of the tables.Tan only one stick: you have to book.
We dropped in here for a couple of drinks late in the afternoon. It was pretty busy considering the COVID-19 situation but all the necessary precautions were being taken by the staff and guests. We have enjoyed drinks here for a number of years now and this visit did not disappoint, the staff are friendly and there is a good selection of beers, wines and spirits.
We walk the paseo during the daytime and in the evening visit some of the restaurants in the Casares area. This chiringuito is one of the best, it has been fully rebuilt and looks superb. We have eaten in here as well but not on this visit. We dropped in late afternoon for drinks and there was still good sun. Great place for a drink, staff are friendly as well.
We dropped in at Ramos after a very short walk, the heat was unbearable but the drinks here were perfect. The Spanish are here in droves at the weekend, so if you have food on your mind you might be better trying a day in the week. The drinks are excellent and well priced. Give this place a look, it is worth trying.

in general it is a good syringuit to eat in scabbards. Compared to the rest there is no better in terms of quality and price, although under my point of view they are a little expensive prices, if we compare with syringuitos of which I usually go of marsh.
