I am from Southern California and have also lived in Boston. Rancho Acoriano is THE BEST seafood restaurant I have ever eaten. I have been to Brazil 10 times in the past 5 years and since the first time I 've eaten at Rancho Acoriano, I 've come back every visit. Rancho Acoriano is MUCH better than the Oystradam restaurant down the road. Ask for Marcos, he is a fantastic server waiter!

Large seafood overlooking the bay between Florianópolis and the continent. Fish, shrimps to die. Excellent, friendly service. The architecture is typical of the island of Açores in Portugal when much of the local population.
