I’m not from Lowell so I thought I’d stop by as it has the best reviews and honestly it was a let down. I got the bistew onions and peppers my favorite meal, I never get anything else) and this by far has been the worst one I’ve tried. The rice was grainy but moist and the steak was chewy… and that’s the part that really got me. I’ve never had chewy bistec… not sure if it’s cheaper steak or the way it was cooked but very much a let down for texture, the flavor was decent the sauce was good, steak not too flavorful itself). My boyfriend got carne guisado and the flavor intensity was a solid 6, the meat was tender though! Rice and gandules was dry. The coke was probably the best part, minimalistic atmosphere. We were gonna do dine-in but for obvious reasons chose takeout and at at a local park. Overall, try the next place ..

Usually I just have rice and pulled pork, sometimes I'll get sancocho and always gotta grab the parcha. Tostones are pretty good too! The food is so good here! I've heard people having problems with delivery and have done deliveries in the past for Doordash here. A LOT of people come here and they usually run out of food by the end of the day. I'd say you should order in person but if you get it delivered they may be out of certain items, so expect them to have some things crossed off on your receipt. Just call up DoorDash or whoever else you use to get food delivered and ask to be refunded. Usually you'll be refunded what wasn't received, sometimes you'll get a full refund!

First time here, enjoyed the service, server was friendly, and helpful. I enjoyed the taste of the food as well, the gandules with the white rice was amazing and the bacalao was not salty! Will go again, my friend LadyJenny likes it and I can understand why

I love the food here but the service here SUCKS!! ASHAME , I wish the lady's working there would actually be more attentive to the customer but nope none of that. Just standing around ignoring you while people are waiting in line.Food: 4/5

My go to spot. Chicken was flavorful, but a bit dry. I will always go back because the food is usually on point and the staff is great. Got the fried fish. It was ok. But I also got the meatballs, they were flavorful and on point
