Randazzo's Camellia City Bakery

I came to this location in hopes of finding the right flavor for my fiancee. The other Randazzo's ran out which is the normal case. But as soon as I walked in, the flavor was sold out. I was bummed and thought about another day not getting what I came for. As I was about to settle for just a strawberry filling, the young lady asked me to wait for a moment while she checked for more cakes. Sure enough, she came back out with a strawberry cream cheese. It was a victoriousmoment. I left with the biggest smile. The whole staff was welcoming and generous. I live in Baton Rouge and I drove to New Orleans for this cake. I WILL BE BACK (to this location)! ????????

The cake- Taste was good and had potential but it was too dry for me. Stick to Manny Randazzo’s.The service- poor. I ordered online and set pick up for 3pm. The day my order is ready they call me before 11am and say my order is ready for pickup and they’re about to close early. So why even set pickup for 3 if you know you like to close early whenever you sell out? Also, the two ladies in the bakery were really unpleasant. Overall, would not go back. Spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere.

I highly recommend Randazzo's! Their original king cakes are absolutely exceptional. They have the perfect balance of frosting to cake, and the cake is moist, fluffy, and not overly sweet like some others can be. The frosting they use is fantastic as well. Without a doubt, this is one of the best king cakes you can find! This is exactly how a king cake should taste!

As a first-time customer, I can confidently say that I’ve found my new favorite spot. I absolutely love the king cakes here! I also tried a king cake from Haydel's, and I won’t be purchasing from them again—nor can I recommend them. For all your bakery needs, go to Randazzo’s; you won’t be disappointed!
