The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and ambiance. It is clear that they have put a lot of effort into getting it just right. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The food was good overall, although the curries were a bit lacking in flavor. We were hoping for more spice, similar to what we would find in India. One standout dish was the BBQ starter we ordered, which was incredible. It was delicious and still sizzling when it was brought to our table.
Delicious food, great service and a wonderfully themed fitout of an English colonial club in India. There is a reason that this conveniently located restaurant in Crows Nest has been a favourite of many for decades. We were recommended the Sultan Goat Curry and Goa Chicken Xacuti. Both were wonderful, but the Sultan Goat Curry was particularly memorable with its succulent goat meat and intense sauce. This was our first visit, and it won't be our last!
Excellent Indian food, the Sultan Goat curry is highly recommended with the golden crispy Garlic Naans. Flavours are authentic, which is rare to get in Indian restaurants in Australia. Starters chicken were a bit under. Caution: Don't ask for spicy. It is Extra hot. Stick to medium. Given five stars for excellent service and authentic flavours.
By far one of the best Indian Resturants in Sydney. The favours of the curries are just sensaional and we ordered a fair few dishes off the menu. Service is so friendly and very welcoming. A go to on a regular basis for sure and must for anyone looking for great tasting Indian food at a very reasonable price! Réservez une table maintenant
I highly recommend this restaurant! The staff is friendly and efficient, and the food is both fast and delicious. The naan breads are exceptional - light, crispy, and with a variety of options to choose from. The goat curry is a unique and delicious choice that I highly recommend trying.
