Rasa Delights - Réserver une table

Here's the thing - a great Singaporean/Malaysian that also is cheap doesn't exist in Sydney afaik so all you can really do is either make it yourself or when you crave it - eat out and try not to think about experiences eating out in Asia.We've been here a few times and have had mostly the set menu with Hainan Chicken Rice and Rendang/roti set - enjoying both dishes. Hainan Chicken was on the small side but moist and tender and rice was fantastic. Rendang was very melting in the mouth. The appetiser/s that came with it was fairly forgettable and on one occasion the Vegetable in coconut broth (Sayur Lodeh?) wasn't so great. The service has been friendly and efficient on all occasions. Go with friends to share - from a recent glance they also seem to have lunch specials (Hainan Chicken/Nasi Lemak).Best to confirm but think its cash only. Also quite small so suggest booking ahead.

The de-boned Hainan Chicken was ok but chicken used did not come across with too much chicken flavour. Serving the curry beef (which has more potatoes than beef) in a small pot with handle does not really appeal to me. The stir fried beans that came with the set meal had a petit portion.

A little place that do wholesome food without MSG, the chicken soup and Prawn Soup is as good as the Hainan chicken rice, really nice place consider the price you paid. Only if the menu is a little more extensive

Sorry to be writing a one star review but it needs to be said. I ordered two of their 'Best Sellers' which was the Hainan Chicken Rice and the Har Mee.

Really wanted to like Rasa Delights but unfortunately it was quite average.
