In the part of Dresden that have survived allied bombs and that is today the most lively, this restaurant has a really nice and shadowy courtyard. During summer days I believe it is the best place to have a real dinner in the Neustadt. The...food is Russian inspired and more sophisticated than the standard German schnitzel... The waiters were very kind and attentive as they managed the waiting list to get a table outside.
Charming little neighbourhood bistro and excellent value for money. Everything they make leans on locally produced ingredients with slavic twist the pelmenis where exceptionally tasty. Special mention for friendly and helpful staff, too. Overall Raskolnikoff was by far the best restaurant experience during our stay..
I have eaten in this restaurant many times and it has been outstanding. My recent visit however was very disappointing. The flavours and presentation have sadly become at best average. Maybe the chef that created the fantastic polpa salad I had last summer has left?
