...and you just want freshly prepared, good-bourgeois cuisine, then you're right here. The former pub under the new owner Oliver Plattig has become a really good, cozy dining room with typical German and Rhine dishes. The facility is rustic, the place is clean, the pub operation in the front area does not interfere at all in the guest room, so you can eat well here in peace. The service is warm, attentive and fast. Zum zweiten Mal hier und zum 2, Mal überaus zufrieden nach Hause gegangen.Service wieder genauso persönlich, nett und herzlich.Die Küche konnte wieder überzeugen. Man hat deutlich gemerkt, dass sich hier einiges eingespielt hat und daher war auch die Qualität sogar noch einen Tick besser.Die Speisekarte hat sich um ein paar Steakgerichte erweitert (Schwein und Rind) und nun ist auch echt rheinischer Sauerbraten vom Pferd mit dabei.Weiter so!
Das Konzept des Lokals hat sich seit meiner letzten Beurteilung geändert: Auf der Speisekarte befinden sich jetzt nur noch kleinere Speisen wie "Hausgemachte Frikadelle mit hausgemachtem Kartoffelsalat", "Strammer Max", "Nürnberger Würstchen". Das Lokal lädt weiter zu einem gemütlichen Aufenthalt ein, ein großer Raum kann für Veranstaltungen und Familienfeiern genutzt werden. Er lässt sich von dem Tresenbereich durch eine Falttür abtrennen.
For the second time here and for the second time went very happy home. Service again as personal, nice and cordial. The kitchen was able to convince again. The concept of the place has changed since my last assessment: On the menu there are now only smaller dishes such as homemade fresco with homemade potato salad, Strammer Max, Nuremberg sausages . The restaurant continues to invite you to a cozy stay, a large room can be used for events and family celebrations. It can be separated from the vault area by a folding door.
If you want to drink a beer or wine, you'll be fine here. Nina, the host, is a soul of man and leads a cozy place. It is especially important to highlight what it conjures in its kitchen for treats. I can recommend only the inlaid herings or the bock sausage with self-made potato salad.
In the time of the pub death, it is all the more beautiful to have met a cozy corner pub. Here you can drink a beer, great atmosphere, very fair prices. Extremely friendly staff, the owner leads her business with a lot of passion. Small menu, very tasty homemade french rolls!
