Ratskeller Freiberg

Whenever I am in Freiberg I go to the 1863 Schankhaus which is in same building and shares the kitchen chefs with the Ratskeller. I have known almost all bars and restaurants in Freiberg for years and right now this is the best value you can get. First they have SKY ... means you can watch football on several screens. Second, they serve a great variety of beers for resonable prices. Third the food is delicious and affordable!!If you had to choose between the other huge restaurant on the Burgstrasse and the Schankhaus, I'd always pick the Schankhaus. They give you the best value and the best food at the same time. I will be there again for sure.

Wer gute deutsche Küche liebt ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Sowohl die warmen Speisen als auch die kalten Platten haben hervorragend geschmeckt. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Mittlerweile schon mehrfach hier gewesen und noch nie schlecht gegessen. Preis / Leistung sehr gut.

Had a great meal at Ratskeller of venison with fresh Freiberger draft. Service was good, they provided us with English menus, and the food was top notch. Not sure if or when I’d ever find myself back in Freiberg, but if I were, this is..

Good food, good service, good location. What more could you want? We enjoyed the stickers on the plates nice touch, too! The nice thing is that we can get into this restaurant with our Aunt who is in a wheelchair. That's not always easy Réservez une table maintenant

This restaurant is well worth a visit. The choice of dishes is wide and varied with plenty of opportunity to try local delicacies. We had the Spargel Karte as it is asparagus season

It is a typical German restaurant. I've been on the first floor for lunch with colleagues and everything was ok. We tasted vegetarian dishes and original German beer
