during the Christmas Market , when temperatures were around 35 F ( cold ) we were looking for Cafe to sit down and have some Coffee and a piece of cake. The Cafe suggested to us was further away, so we ended up here, it's located right at City Hall, very convenient to the Market Place. The decor of the restaurant is " rustic " , the place is clean, had lovely Christmas decorations, good , friendly , efficient SERVICE.. we enjoyed our Coffee / Cake on this cold late afternoon to warm us up. Go and visit.

One thing that impressed me re my trip to Germany was the restaurants. This was another excellent choice (though in fairness there was not much of a choice) 3 beers, a large schnapps brandy and 2 big main courses of pork schnitzel and a dish of various German meats and veg for less then €40 was excellent. Added to that was the excellent service from our waiter. We still have the receipt!!

Nice experience, friendly staff and tasty, simple food. We enjoyed a small lunch here. Not especially romantic or hi class but has a nice local touch to it.

rustic, cozy atmosphere with a grounded German kitchen. Service employees are very attentive and accommodating. we like to come back.

Had a real nice traditional dinner, Ente, Rotkohl & Klöße. Food was amazing and we loved the architecture of the building.
