A sympathetically restored grand house surrounded by vast gardens, which can be explored at leisure. The food is wholesome traditional Gallego food but with a touch of refinement. The wines are excellent value. There are various dining rooms, some large enough for weddings, christenings but also small intimate rooms packed with antiques. The service is friendly and unhurried. If the weather is fine, there is also an outside terrace where one can eat under the shade of stunning wisteria. If a leisurely meal is your choice, the Rectoral is ideal.
the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the restaurant has a quality and originality in the outstanding dishes and the treatment of the staff to make it feel good is 10. the environment and the farm make you really disconnect. It was certainly a great option to have chosen the rector to spend our days of rest. thanks to rose, miriam and the whole team for all the attention you've had with us.
It was very quiet while we were there and so we opted to eat outside rather than in the restaurant. The wine we were advised about by the owner was excellent and the food also, in particular my fillet steak which must rate among the best I've had anywhere in the world. Very nice place worth staying for the food!

Mediocre everything: food, service....etc A very nice setting though. It is a shame this beautiful rural accommodation does not count with a proper restaurant.
